October Skiing

Who has pictures of skiing this October? Post here! I have been off the water for almost a month now. I know that I've been absent for a while but I'm happy to report that I'm alive well and ready to bring you some of the best water skiing features the web has to offer.

Re: October Skiing

Will fix some pitcures, still skiing, its not the "cold" water that limits, its the short daylight.
Got to stay in shape, still one comp. left, in november if its free from ice wink

Not a skiing shot, but a picture of my wife and little girls about to jump into the water taken last Friday, October 1st.  The water was 68 degrees - not that bad.

wade,

Boomer and I have been skiing minimum once a week. This week is looking really good with highs in the 60s. Come ski with us behind your favorite boat. Our water is around 60  and the trees are turning.

Re: October Skiing

We will probably ski tomorrow or this weekend.  I'll try to get some pictures for you.  The water is in the 60* range.  I am thinking of pulling the boat next weekend.  I have some free time and my kids sports fill the weekends after so I may not have as much time.

Re: October Skiing

I skied today, but due to the long layoff between skiing last, the cooler water and the neoprene (insert other excuses here) I didn't ski as well as I would have liked.  I did have fun!!!!!!!!

10*C in both air and water and the camera ready for a nice shot on me skiing, then my friend comes alone, no one to hold the camera sad

Better luck tommorrow i hope.......and better skiing from me, it wasnt near my best form..... wink

Re: October Skiing

Went at it this morning.  Water 58, air 34.  Water was real edgy.  In my spring suit I thought ice was going to form on my shins.  This is my brother Seth, he braved it in a rash guard, true story.  Had baby O on board so vid was limited.  Driving I had to break out the hat and synthetic down, gloves would have been a good option.  Hoping to get some warmer air in what looks to be our last week with the course in and water high.

Re: October Skiing

We're still skiing. Water 73-74 and air temps 80-85.  Our last tournament of the year in the area was saturday so yesterday I made the transition from the Strada bindings to true hard shells. Geez, that was an experience! smile
