Oct 1-4 INT Champhionships in Bakersfield, California

Anyone on here going to Bakersfiled? I'm going so is my wife Katie, both qualified here in New England. Such a fun event. Rumour has it RADAR will be rocking a DEMO DAY on one of the 11 lakes in the area around Ski West Village. Great place to check out the latest gear and hang with the man Eddie Roberts to get the skivvy on fin setup.

http://www.intleagues.com/us-championships/

The INT US Championships is the largest water sports event of its kind in the US. INT participants can qualify for the US Championships by competing in an INT tour and accumulating points throughout the season. At the end of the season, the division winners in each state are invited to the US Championships. There, INT division winners compete against other state champions for the US Championships title. Sponsors, professional athletes, friends and family from around the country join together to compete and cheer one another on. It is a fun filled week of parties, guest speakers, and competition. An honorary banquet is held to award the Champions at the conclusion of the event. Don’t miss this exciting experience!

Rossi goes out 2nd off dock opening at 32 off, clean 35, ran 38 with slight side/cross  wind (2-3mph steady with 6mph gusts), final 5 at 39. Best of Round 1 was only 1 at 39.

Jill is skiing with guys and given a 6 buoy handicap.

Adam going out at 28off, relaxed run on his 67" F1 with HO APPROACH Bindings. Clean 32 pass and even smoother 35. No wind at this point and almost ran 38 but got dug in deep at 5 ball, final score 4-1/2 at 38. Tourney best I believe.

So far I believe that is the case. No final, just best of 2 rounds. Awards tonight at the banquet.

Thomas Moore at Round 2 of 2008 INT US Championships. Photo of 1ball at 36mph 39off. Final score 2-1/2 at 39. Amazing his tight light out of the buoy, almost no slack. Pretty cool photo I captured of his 3ball blow out as well, I'l try to post that. Got some great photos of his 38 pass.

Chris Rossi at Round 2 of 2008 INT US Championships. Photo of 2ball at 36mph 38off. Final score 5 at 39. Unfortunately his 1ball at 39 was pretty blurry, so not worth posting. Amazing the spray that Rossi put up, you could feel it on shore compared to the other pros, really pushing water. Could feel his pain as he gave out a shriek when he knew he was going to be inside of 6 ball at 39.

Congrats Chris on bringing home the 2nd place spot, NICE WORK!!!

Terry Winter at Round 2 of 2008 INT US Championships. Photo of 1ball at 36mph 39off. Final score 2-1/2 at 39 with a nasty blow out around 2 ball. Terry certainly had the worst water of the pros as it calmed out later on.
