RS-1 Boot placement?

I have the RS-1 boots and plan to demo a few new skis now that the tournament season is almost over and I'm healthy. Where do I measure from on the heal RS-1 boots to get my boot placement?

Re: RS-1 Boot placement?

Scott, I measure right about the top of the heel where the rubber meets the leather.

Re: RS-1 Boot placement?

Chris,
Looking at a side veiw would this be the farthest point back on the boot where the heavy stitching is?

Re: RS-1 Boot placement?

If I understand correctly the heal rubber meets the leather about 5/16" in from the farthest point back on the boot. Is this correct?

Re: RS-1 Boot placement?

The very back/top of the boot is TPU rubber.  Follow that down to where it ends and thats where I measure to.  Easy place for me to get consistent readings.
