Binding Placement

It is in the contradictions and disagreements that the knowledge is found.  Since so many advocate the front boot placement as paramount,  what is your thinking about ignoring it and focusing on the rear placement?  If I place my rear at 17 with my normal close spacing, the front would be 28 5/8

I recommend setting your back foot to my settings and keeping your spacing between feet the same way you have always skied.  Do not even look at where your front foot is placed as I feel that the back foot is more important, especially for skiers with small feet.  When I have skied on a 67" ski, I always run 17" to my rear foot.  On a 66, I run 16 5/8", no matter what the ski, so far."
