DIY Camera Mount

Somebody posted plans / pics of a DIY camera mount back in July, and today I thought I would go out and buy the bits and have a go and making one. However, I did not anticipate not being able to find the the forum post.

So if anyone has those plans, please can they be posted again.

Re: DIY Camera Mount

I have the photos saved, email me and I'll fire them over.  super easy and works great on nautiques.  wouldn't work on my malibu

2" pvc and a 2" pvc cap.  drill a hole in the cap for a thumb screw that will screw into the bottom of a camera & use a bunch of washers, (forget the thread size, but its a standard IMP size for cameras)

Re: DIY Camera Mount

If you have a moomba the pylon is tapered.  Heat the pvc with a heat gun and it will form to the pylon and work.  Might take a couple of tries before you get it right.
