Wanted size 6 Reflex left boot / Pro Ski Coach Water Ski Forum

I am looking for a size 6 Reflex left boot that fits the older yellow Reflex system. My son has outgrown his size 4 and we need a new one but the ones you can buy new don't fit the yellow systems which we have two complete set ups of.

Bennett's should be able to help you out. The website doesn't list bits and pieces, but I can't imagine that they won't sell just a shell.

The problem is that Reflex came out with a new binding and changed the shell and the new shells don't work with the old bindings. I spoke with Bennett's yesterday and am waiting on a return call but they didn't think they had what I needed. The new Reflex hardshells don't work with the older yellow 400 series releases. I have two different bindings for my son one for his slalom and one for his trick so I would rather not have to buy two complete new setups for him.

When they were switching over ot the 500 release, there was a cleat and rivet kit you could get to upgrade your old boot to work with the new system. I wonder if Reflex would be able to get you a cleat to downgrade a new boot to work with the 404 release.

If Reflex can't get you an old style clete. The clete kit to upgrade for the 500 series is about $ 42 and you would have to shave it down and likely fill the 3 hole.

Alternatively, there is a size 8 on Ski it again, that you could always use for parts. Drill out the rivets and move over to the new shell and have a few spare buckles.
