The network of friends I ski with call ourselves the Bryant Lake Ski Team (BLST) - We're not a team, but it's the name of the lake we ski.

I challenged my song writing son to put something together for us before he headed off to college last fall. A few weeks later he had a hit - at least with a very limited audience. I figured there are at least a few other skiers out there who would appreciate it. I mean we thought it was cool that our ski group had a name, logo and t-shirts...but do you know ANYONE who's ski team has a SONG?

So as of this week, it's available for download on iTunes.

If you have a minute, take a listen to the BLST Anthem quite possibly the first-ever song about slalom water skiing and the passion of rising early. There is a very brief audiio preview as part of iTunes.

hey skibrain - is there any other place or way to get that song NOT from itunes?? i don't use itunes.. they kinda ripped me off a few years ago. they lost two hundred dollars worth of my music and couldn't get it back.. so i've been boycotting them since (i'm sure i'm hitting them hard! lol)

I can "distribute" to other online "stores" but it costs add'l money. Sorry Steve Jobs done you wrong, but right now that's all the further I'm into it. Last time I checked, his stock was still moving up.

Amazon has a great MP3 store. They are cheaper than itunes to buy from, I haven't looked into it but it seems like they should be affordable to sell through as well.

Pl0tz, get an external hard drive or other backup service! Kinda sucks itunes doesn't let you recover your music... i've lost stuff before as well...

He and his best buddy just released an album on iTunes yesterday. Nothing more skiing related
