Schnitz Speed Slot fin - how many skiers are actually using it?

Over the last 3-4 years I found that GOODE skis (incl. WR) work pretty well with the Speed Slot Fin. I wonder why it seems that very few people are using them? Anyone has numbers to recommend for 64 WR and 65.75 9900? Any other experiences? I'm a 34mph, 32-35off skier.

Talk to Schnitz.  He is fairly insistent that his numbers work most of the time.

Re: Schnitz Speed Slot fin - how many skiers are actually using it?

Had a goode 9500, it skied about the same as with the standard fin.
Had a 06 Monza, I couldn’t get the ski to work until I put the slot fin on it.
Since the Monza I’ve went to a RXC, it don’t need any help!

Re: Schnitz Speed Slot fin - how many skiers are actually using it?

I had one setup with Schnitz #s on my 05 Monza and it made the ski work well.  use cold water #s for below 70 degrees and warm water #s above it.  It was actually quite ridiculous how sensitive to temps that fin was...  but it was better than the stock monza fin.  once I switched to the SS I didn't have any trouble getting the ski to turn so I stuck with the stock fin.  The slot went with my monza to its new owner.
