For those interested in an end of the year tournament. Palm Bay's Stillwater Lakes is hosting two 3-rnd tournaments on Oct-31 and Nov-1. These are pay per round, so you can ski 1 to 3 rounds, 1 or both days.
F slalom=$10 each round, C slolom =$25 each round, ELR=$50 each round, payable to SCWSC
The site skies very well and there have been some great scores posted there. Ben Favre set the MM record there earlier this year.
Oct-31:

Nov-1:

I have never skied in one of these tournaments, so what does F slalom and C slalom mean in regards to the rounds of the tournaments.
Thanks
Todd
F = Fun!
C = For National Rankings List, more rules involved
ELR = Different world-rankings list or record-capable tournament rules, stricter tollerances, mostly unnecessary unless you're running deep shortline and want placement on the world rankings list

Thanks that is good info to know.
So in the fun division you could ski all three rounds for 30 dollars? Or am I reading that wrong?
If so that is a smokin deal
Thanks Wade!
In addition to what he said, the F class is set up so that you get 4 passes regardless of weather you run them or not.
Also, the layout of this site is such that the lake where the ELR is run is the narrow (read more protected) lake. So, if it happens to be windy, this is the preferred lake.
