RS-1 Boot plate?

How tight should you tighten the front and back screws.  snug?  should you have to loosen them slightly to move the bindings or should bindings move freely with center screws out?

Re: RS-1 Boot plate?

When the boots are properly installed there will still be some play in the front and back screws. You should tighten them down as far as you can - but there's no need to crank them down. The idea is that the plate will "free float" during ski flex, so the front and back screws should allow for slide. I would go "three finger tight" - about has tight as you can get them with 3 fingers on the screw driver.
