Parrish 1.5@43 in Louisiana, Labor Day Weekend 2009

Some pretty big scores out of Louisiana this weekend!

Goode Skis racking up the points all over the place.

Don't believe the hype -- It's still mostly the skier!!

Chris Parrish 1.5@43 ties his world record
Regina Jaquess 1@41 ties her co-held world record.

More skiing out there tomorrow... will be interesting to see if those marks move forward at all!

Great video, I hear the "Ranch" is skiing awesome. Will have to make it down to one of those events in the future. Man that 39 does look so easy.

Chris, Welcome to PSK! That was the strongest 39 and 41 I've ever seen. You got the set up dead on it looks like in a short number of sets. You're obviously in better shape physically this year than recent years. How much of your recent performances this year do you attribute to that?

Re: Parrish 1.5@43 in Louisiana, Labor Day Weekend 2009

Shane first off just wanted to say thanks for the positive comments about last weekend big_smile  Really dialed in right now, this whole year has pretty off the charts just didn't go to well a little bit in the middle of the season but i def would say i bounced back !!

i've had my years being lean and light and stronger and a little heavier, but to answer your question i think it has helped some , esp now with boats. skis, ropes and the top guys out there are super lean and fit and you want to be on that level playing field ..  But last weekend was a combination of equip, the water, driver, boat , personal life ( well being ) fitness , trust and strength ..

Anyways hope that helped out with your question ..
Chris

Chris - What settings in ZO are you using to train and are you using different for events like this?

You can do it Chris! With the way those passes looked, you must be doing that or better in your practice rides. Good luck at Diablo this weekend!

Kim congrats on your new ski , i got to see Karina's new ride at the factory and it looks awesome : )  Timing is everything on breaking a new world record  for this weekend, anyways see ya at the comp !!

Buoy chaser i use C3 on the 5.7 and C2 on a 6 L other than that i don't ever change the settings , it ends up getting complicated !!

thanks Steven big_smile

That was one sweet run Chris, very solid. Can wait to see you ski this weekend! Happy to see you are a regular on this site...by far the best to help promote the sport. 3 at 43 why not. Curious have you ever run more than 1 at 43 in practice?
